Music has been my language for over three decades, from the stage to the studio as a recording artist. I bring 35 years of experience and a deep passion for guitar to every lesson, guiding students of all levels to find their own musical voice. My music history includes artists in the genre of alternative, rock and pop, indie, grunge, metal and the early 2000's post grunge era. Some of my main artist influences are Stone Temple Pilots, Gavin DeGraw, Alice In Chains, Metallica, RHCP, Maroon 5, Train, and Gin Blossoms to name a few.

Finding my love for music at a young age, I started to play guitar at the age of 6. Quickly beginning private lessons, I studied classical, rock, and blues early in my journey, practicing up to 8 hours a day as a child. Eventually, while continuing guitar lessons, I taught myself to record and engineer productions for songwriting purposes. Late in high school, I began to teach groups of children from kindergarten up until 4th grade, and even taught private lessons to beginner children. In 2017, I was accepted to Berklee College of Music after auditioning on guitar. While there, I recorded guest solos for various artists, recorded in a multi-million dollar Berklee studio with my band, and, although delayed by the pandemic and other reasons, recently graduated in May with Honors. Since last year, I also auditioned for and joined the metal band, FROGG, and we have since recorded and released our debut album, Eclipse, which has sold out all physical copies and was met with positive reviews from critics.

My love affair with music began over two decades ago. A graduate of The Atlanta Institute of Music in 2007, I hold a degree in Guitar Performance. My musical journey has seen me perform with diverse bands, bringing my passion to life on stage. With a teaching experience spanning 10+ years, I've guided students of all ages and skill levels. Beyond playing, I'm well-versed in recording and producing music. My mission as a teacher is to impart technical proficiency and ignite a lifelong passion for music in my students. Currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Music Education at the University of South Florida School of Music, I bring a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of musical diversity. Having also shared my knowledge in the academic arena, teaching mathematics in Pasco County Public School for the last year and a half, I'm thrilled to embark on this musical journey with you.
