I have a professional acting and stage management degrees from East Carolina University and have taught acting to ages 7-18 in mostly theatre camp environments! I have directed various shows and done multiple coachings in Shakespeare/heightened text and contemporary language! I can offer perspectives from both an actor standpoint and a director!

Beginner training plan
Your first classIf you are seeking specific monologue coaching for an audition, we can hop right into running the piece, dissecting it textually, and having discussions about sending/receiving action, tactics, and strategies for your performance. If you are seeking general acting coaching, our first lesson will be where we figure out your strengths and help work out a game plan for future lessons! I would like for my lessons to be student-led, so if there is something you particularly want to work on, we will incorporate that into the lesson plan!
Class 2-3We will continue delving into chosen topics, including some introductory text work and starting out on sending/receiving action.
Class 4-10As we get more into a routine, we can incorporate more complex texts, including heightened text if desired! We will look to break out of your comfort zone and delve into texts and pieces that may challenge you!
Advanced training plan
Your first classDepending on what you would like to work on, we can discuss and craft a game plan to help you get more comfortable with heightened text, figure out how to perform a tricky song, and try out some new character work!
Youth players
Working with teenagersMy specialty in working with teens is primarily geared towards collegiate audition prep — if you are preparing to audition for college acting programs and want some assistance from someone who has graduated from a college acting program, I would love to help! We will go over your audition packet, see what can be improved upon, and work out any audition jitters!
