Our son started hitting with Coach Dom as we transitioned from Coach pitch to kid pitch. Coach Dom helped him develop a swing by starting with fundamentals and building from there. His approach builds confidence and has been the catalyst for our son falling in love with the game. Our son consistently asks us what would Coach Dom think when he evaluates his performance, not just in baseball but in school and in other sports. I think this is the testament to the positive impact he has had on our son. We could not give a stronger endorsement.

Dom was great with our kids. In addition to teaching proper swing mechanics, he was thoughtful in his approach -- he made the lessons fun and tailored our lessons to our kids personality which made them excited to go to lessons. One of the biggest impacts he made was building and instilling confidence in themselves and what they were learning.

We worked with Dom for hitting lessons for our 2 boys for years. Dom was able to read our child’s ability and improved his hitting greatly with small adjustments in stance and alignment. He was a wonderful mentor for both our boys as well.

My son, like many children, was reluctant to take direction from someone he personally knew. So we looked for a personal trainer, Dom did an amazing job of quickly binding a relationship with him, fostering a mentorship that helped my son achieve great results. Dom made these sessions fun and found ways to encourage and coach my son to energize and foster his love for baseball.

Coach Dom is wonderful! My son loved working with him. My son’s batting greatly improved after beginning lessons with Dom. Dom is patient and positive while instructing. My son improved his swing and also came away more confident and focused.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson the athlete can expect it to be getting comfortable with Coach Dom and learning what our initial challenges are and our goal moving forward. Mostly tee and front toss.
Lesson 11+We are progressing and fine tuning our swing. We are looking for other problem areas and addressing them in real time. Tee, front toss, overhand.
Lesson 4-10We are starting to master our initial skills. There are level two challenges we are starting to identify and begin creating a game plan for. Tee, front toss, overhand.
Lesson 2-3We will start to get into basic initial drills that will help them with their goals. This is where we will fortify terminology and WHY we doing things. Mostly tee and front toss, maybe some overhand throwing if needed. There will also be homework given if the athlete wants it.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson is always about building trust and identifying what’s the main problem an athlete is having. We build drills and a program around that specific problem.
Lesson 11+We continue to challenge the athlete as well as find new areas to improve/take feedback from what the did in games.
Lesson 4-10We begin to increase the difficulty of the drills to address the problem and help the athlete progress. Homework is given if the athlete wants it.
Lesson 2-3We begging to master the drills given in the first lesson and maybe add a new drill to fortify the new movement or correction.
Youth players
Working with kidsTeaching kids is all about speaking their language. I make my lessons fun and engaging. I pride myself in making lessons fun and taking big concepts and simplifying it into their language. I turn a lot of drills into games.
Working with teenagersConnecting with teenagers to build trust and have them open up is the best way I have found success. I try to relate with them and find a way to make it relevant to their lives.
