About your baseball coach

My service stands out because you don’t have to pay top dollar to put an emphasis on 1 on 1 teaching. That’s my bread and butter. Being a certified personal trainer I bring more aspects into my lessons to further tap into my athletes talent and work ethic. You don't pay seperate for the personal trainer. I correlate the skill work and physical training together. I played varsity 3 of 4 years in High School. I have multiple Babe Ruth League state titles and played collegiately for 2 years and was a win away from the college World Series. I know how good baseball is played and what it looks like. I break down the fundamentals of the game to help their skill set grow exponentially. Whether it's infield, outfield, on the pitchers mound or in the batters box, when the fundamentals become basic nature, it leaves all the room in the world for the talent to take over. Baseball is such a mental sport as well. I've read numerous books about not only techniques physically, but techniques mentally. That knowledge either isn’t passed on, or it costs an arm and a leg to get. I enjoy helping people get the most out of themselves. I enjoy spending time teaching the younger generation about the sport I grew up loving and still love. I enjoy being a good influence and passing on my knowledge to the younger generation. I'm passionate about fostering a love for baseball in every student I teach. With 16+ years of playing experience, and my 8+ years of coaching experience, I bring a deep understanding of the game and a dedication to helping players reach their full potential. I’ve seen and trained all types of athletes. Let's step up to the plate and make this season your best yet!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWith any new student, the parents are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting so that I can get a further understanding of the student that I am going to be training over the next couple of months. I'm gonna start by asking you questions: How long have they been playing the game? What's your favorite position? What are their likes and dislikes? What are their goals? Once I talk to my students and parents and get a good idea of where they want to go and how they want this training to enhance their skills, I'll preforme some basic movement tests and strength tests. This is going to show me how much Baseball skill work and personal training work to incorporate into our sessions. Because we only have an hour together I want to maximize our time to help my clients achieve the best version of themselves.
Lesson 2-3No two athletes are the same, no lesson plan will be the same for each athlete. Session two will come with a lesson plan for the student. We will lay out what’s expected and start getting to work for sessions 2 and 3.
Lesson 4-10Seasons 4-10 can be as expected. We are working hard to develop fundamental skills to carry the student beyond the “classroom”
Lesson 11+If programs are done right, they will always be being adjusted every so often and tailored to the athlete. It’s continuous work. We can expect another evaluation around this time to see how much progress has been made, and where we want to continue to go.
