Working with kidsI have 2 kids of my own that I’ve been coaching their teams since they were both 4. I understand each kid learns differently and at different paces. I try to make everything a game to bring more excitement and enthusiasm. Kids need to be shown what to do, so I will definitely show them what I am trying to teach. I encourage questions and curiosity. I will set clear objectives, as to why we’re doing this and how it affects the player. I will be flexible and patient with your child.
Working with teenagersI have also coached teenagers in basketball over the past few years. They also have to be shown what to do and need a reason why we are doing a certain drill.
