About your baseball coach
I've worked with athletes of all ages and multiple different sport. I've helped coach younger kids with pitching and I've even helped teammates with small adjustments with hitting and pitching. I've been in the game of baseball for over 20 years now playing and I'm looking to help younger athletes achieve dreams that I couldn't. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonTry to teach basics of stretching, bands, and throwing/fielding.
Lesson 2-3Continue on with a plan of how to stretch, band, and then playing catch
Lesson 4-10Actively getting better, moving on from basic skills to trying to perfect them while adding new stuff in.
Lesson 11+Being able to get into a routine themselves without my help. Continuing to learn how to get better and perfect their craft
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFigure out what knowledge the person has about baseball concepts. For example, band work, catch play, stretching, or just routines they may or may not have.
Lesson 2-3Get a routine built that the can do every day.
Lesson 4-10Continue to grow in an emphasis of getting better. Learning new techniques to mechanics and learning new skills for recovery/stretching.
Lesson 11+Continuing to grow into the athlete they want to become. Working plyometrics, mechanics, pitch grips, how to get stronger outside the weight room, and how to become a better pitcher/fielder.
Youth players
Working with kidsI try to give them the basic knowledge of baseball. Teach them how fun it can be. Let them play the field, hit, pitch, etc.
Working with teenagersI want to know that teens will be engaged and trying to learn to become better, If they really want to play college or pro ball. I want to help them understand how it is to get recruited and going to college because I had no idea. So if any kid can understand what it’s like ahead of time that would be a huge step ahead of the game.
