Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe most important thing with baseball is fundamentals. Foundational skills - the basics - see where you are at!
Lesson 11+Whatever they feel they need to work on is what we will do here. If they just want to do more situational decision making that would be priority
Lesson 4-10Front toss hitting and timing, fielding techniques, base running (home to first technique (we will do a base running challenge to beat yourself each week) outfield flyballs, situation play decision making, pitching intro (if necessary) or hitting refinement. Skills challenge to see how far you have come.
Lesson 2-3Throwing, catching, hitting forms (bat grip, stances, bat paths)
Youth players
Working with kidsI want them to have fun but really learn. So the basics is where we will emphasize our lessons. Stance, that grip, catching and throwing
Working with teenagersI want to see where they are with their skills. And then we build off of that to refine or strengthen
