I have various playing and coaching experiences. I started my career in the 7th grade, coming off the end of the bench. I was able to work my way up and became a four-year varsity player. In my senior year of high school, I was team captain, a 1st-team all-league selection, and team MVP. I went on to play 2 years collegiately (1 year at the NCAA D3 level, one at the Junior college). From seeing many different levels, I understand the game well and can help other players reach their potential. Nothing beats hard work, knowledge, and a good coach. Let's get to work!!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThis is mostly a skill assessment and an introduction to my coaching style. This will include a little bit of everything, finishing near the basket, midrange shooting, potentially long range shooting, and defense.
Lesson 11+After lesson ten we will reassess and see if the player feels they need to readjust their skill plan.
Lesson 4-10You can expect to see both obvious and small improvements. The player will have improved their skills but also their general feel of the game.
Lesson 2-3Based on the weak points I find from lesson one, we will continue to strengthen those aspects while keeping all the tools sharp.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe will start with a skill assessment on the first lesson and the second half will be an introduction to some of the drills and format of my trainings.
Lesson 11+After lesson ten the player will have a personalized plan to continue with or without me. If they wish to continue with me we will have a reassessment of their goals as a player.
Lesson 4-10At this point, I like to start introducing game like situations so the player can begin to learn how to implement their skills in real time. This may include learning to read the defense or manipulating the offensive player with their defensive skills.
Lesson 2-3We start with a warm up and then hop into the drills fit for the players weakest points and always finish on the strongest points and conditioning.
Youth players
Working with kidsI start with a skill assessment and then jump right into the basics! The foundation of a good player are the fundamentals. Shaky fundamentals means shaky skills. Once they’ve proved to me they have the basics down I start to make the drills increasingly more difficult.
Working with teenagersI always start by assessing their skills. Once I have found their skill level I adapt and make drills to fit which level they are at and what level and type of player they want to be. I have lots of experience in scaling drills to make them more appropriate for advanced players as I have work for club organizations in the past. I also think building competition within practice is a big pillar of my coaching style.
