Coach Aris is great to work with! He can be tough but in a good/productive way! He even throws in some funny comments here and there which made me feel even more comfortable that he wasn’t super serious the whole time. He knows what he’s doing, I can’t recommend Coach Aris enough!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBasics! I have the athlete do your basic fundamentals, shooting, passing, dribbling, lay ups, defense, etc so I can see and gauge where he/she is at currently.
Lesson 11+Similar to 4-10 but now I can see what areas of the game we need to focus more on and less on which we do for the remaining of the sessions.
Lesson 4-10We hit the ground running now. Full teach/coach mode, lots of fairly high intense drills, stations, it’s time to sweat!
Lesson 2-3I will slowly start to incorporate my favorite drills and techniques based on his/her skill level and comfort level as well.
Youth players
Working with kidsIt’s all about teaching or coaching a kid to what he or she will grasp best; will understand best and will feel most comfortable with.
Working with teenagersSimilar as with kids, you may have 5 players but each one reacts or feeds off of me differently based on what works best for them. I need to be very flexible with these athletes which is one of my strengths!
What you need to bringBasketball, gym shoes, water/Gatorade, sometimes a banana or an energy bar, etc.
What I can bringBasketball, whistle, hand outs for study and review (sometimes), cones for drills.
