Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI’ll identify the athletes strengths and weaknesses. I’ll asses that by taking them through various fundamental shooting-form, ball-handling, finishing and footwork drills. Another thing I’ll look for is their mentality. Do they want to be coached? Can they take criticism? Are they willing to do conditioning?
Lesson 11+At this point, their confidence has shifted and they have a clear identify of their game. They’d have multiple breakdown videos taken during the workouts, drills mastered, and skills to work on individually.
Lesson 4-10By multiple lessons, the athletes will have a basis understanding on what they can do at home. They’ll have created short term goals that’d work with them to accomplish.
Lesson 2-3Based off the information from day 1, we’ll attack their needs and most desired skills to be improved on. I’ll have a conversation with the athlete/ parent to see what goals they have.
Advanced training plan
Your first lesson• I’ll have a sit down conversation on how their season is going. Understanding their mindset, and how their role on their team is vital. With this info I will asses them by doing multiple conditioning drills, mixed with a detailed workout.
Lesson 11+• We’d see a different type of player at this time. The confidence would be higher and they’d be able to aim for higher reps. Knowing what to expect from the drills, it’d be a smooth transition from drill to drill.
