Beginner training plan
Your first trainingThe first lesson focuses on evaluating the athlete’s current skill level, confidence, coordination, and understanding of the game. We will build a strong foundation through proper ball handling, footwork, shooting form, and movement mechanics while creating a fun and encouraging environment. My goal is to help beginners feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to improve.
Training 2-3During the second and third lessons, athletes can expect to continue developing foundational skills while introducing more game-like movements and decision-making. We will work on dribbling under control, finishing techniques, defensive movement, passing, and shooting consistency. These sessions focus on building confidence, discipline, and understanding of basic basketball concepts.
Training 4-10By lessons four through ten, athletes will begin applying their skills in more advanced drills and competitive situations. Sessions will focus on basketball IQ, movement efficiency, conditioning, agility, and skill combinations that translate directly into game play. Players will continue improving confidence, consistency, and overall athletic performance through structured progression.
Training 11+As training continues, sessions become more individualized to the athlete’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. Athletes can expect advanced skill development, increased conditioning, situational game training, and continued focus on confidence and mental performance. My goal is to help each athlete grow into a fundamentally sound, disciplined, and game-ready player.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with youth players, I focus on building confidence, fundamentals, and a genuine love for the game. I create fun, structured sessions that keep athletes engaged while teaching proper shooting mechanics, ball handling, footwork, and teamwork. My goal is to help young athletes develop strong habits early while creating a positive environment where they feel encouraged to learn, grow, and compete with confidence.
Working with teenagersWhen training teenagers, I focus on skill development, basketball IQ, conditioning, and game application. I incorporate game-like drills that challenge decision-making, confidence, and competitiveness while still emphasizing discipline and fundamentals. I strive to create an environment that pushes athletes to improve mentally and physically while helping prepare them for higher levels of competition both on and off the court.

First off, if you are looking for a trainer, please book her now. Not only is she accommodating with scheduling training sessions, but she is also patient, encouraging, and dedicated. Overall, I give the training a 5-star rating. I liked how even though we were working, we still had a good time. I learned how to execute different combinations and options on how to drive to the rim. She even went as far as giving me a conditioning day to help get me into shape.
