Coach Mills is an outstanding coach who helped me grow not only as a player but also as a person. He constantly pushed me past my limits to ensure I improved, which set a standard for me to always strive for more—putting in extra work on my own, going all out every time I had the chance to be in the gym, and following structured workouts that included weight room sessions, shooting routines, conditioning, and plyometrics.
What really stands out is the kind of person he is. Coach Mills creates an environment where players feel motivated to give their best, not just because he’s a great coach, but because he builds relationships and treats players like more than just athletes—he’s also a friend and mentor. He instilled in me a mindset that if I work hard enough, I can achieve my goals. That belief and confidence he built in me through consistent hard work made a lasting impact.
