I began my basketball training at ground zero as a Second Grader with Dr. Butler. Through 7 years of skill development, I have grown as a basketball player and as a person. This season, as a 7th. Grader, I made my Middle School Team at Lincoln Charter Middle School, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Additionally, I have been selected to play on the 9th. Grade AAU Basketball Team. Last week, I was selected to play on the 9th. Grad 15U Elite Travel Team.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonStretching, warm-up drills. Basic fundamentals dribbling, passing, and spot shooting.
Lesson 11+A progression of teaching fundamental skills based on their level of proficiency and completion on learning objectives leading to the mastery of prior skills taught.
Lesson 4-10A continuation of teaching fundamental basketball skills based on individual mastery of prior skills, etc.
Lesson 2-3A continuation of teaching fundamental basketball skills.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAdvanced training consists of ball-handing passing, cutting, shooting on the move. One dribble pull-ups, etc. All lessons are advanced based on students demonstration of current learning objectives from previous sessions.
Lesson 11+Teaching advanced footwork: pivoting, jab step, crossover and drop step techniques and principles.
Lesson 4-10Teaching rebounding techniques: closing out, boxing out principles. All skills taught are based on students learning and mastery of all prior skills.
Lesson 2-3Teaching advanced ball-handing crossover, between legs, behind back, etc. spot shooting, shooting off the catch. Advanced passing and footwork etc
Youth players
Working with kidsI have developed a history of teaching and training kids who have not played on a competitive team prior to beginning in training with me while helping them develop the necessary skills necessary to become fundamentally sound basketball players.
Working with teenagersTeenagers must be willing to learn and master the basic fundamentals of the game of basketball before proceeding to advanced training techniques. Example: learning to complete a Layup off a two foot approach and a power Layup before advancing to a Pro Hop and Euro Step.
What you need to bringStudents should bring their own indoor-outdoor basketball fully inflated if possible, a towel and bottled water or other sports drinks, etc.
