Beginner training plan
Your first trainingMeasuring where you are on your basketball journey. Strengths and weaknesses. Coaching style. Stretching. Some basic ball handling, shooting, court movement and position drills.
Training 2-3Full warm up- stretching, ball handling, layups.
Working on biggest challenges first
Finish with light shooting
Day 3 repeats day 2
Training 4-10Full warm up
Intermediate dribbling drills
Move without the ball drills
Off the dribble shooting
Catch and release shooting
Training 11+Becoming the best you takes time and often times takes is consistency. My dad would say practice doesn’t make perfect, “perfect practice does the trick every time.” “Or stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.”
My point being a lot of times you have to do everything you have already done a million more times to master it.
Lessons 11+ looks like 4-10 lessons until you mastered the basics. Then we will gradually add in more.
