Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFundamentals. Learning how to dribble and finish with both hands, learn and understand footwork in and around the bucket, and finding your jump shot and range
Lesson 11+This is where we have fun. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, king of the hill. We start incorporating the moves and skills we’ve learned. Less focusing on reps (BUT WE STILL GOING TO DO REPS❗️) and more focusing on live game situations
Lesson 4-10Continuous growth is what basketball is. Continuously going over the basic and fundamentals by reps. We add shots off the dribble and slides into shots
Lesson 2-3We grow off the first lesson. We add moves and learn angles around the cup. We start adding more contact in our drills to help with finishing and stability
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonYou’re an advanced player? Cool. Then all we got to do is hone in on your strengths and work on our weaknesses. Whether you want to go to college or just leave a legacy at your school, we will work towards that goal
Lesson 11+Now we’re playing. 1 on 1 to 5 on 5. I know pros and collegiate players that will gladly come out for live games. Game reps at game speed
Lesson 4-10Start to understand what decision-making truly is. Constantly dribbling in and around traffic isn’t a good look, so we’ll work on reading the floor while under pressure. Heavily defended, sag off defense, where your shooters are, where’s your big at, all these will be our focus
Lesson 2-3Lots of shots. With and without the ball. Coaches love players that know what to do when they don’t have the ball in your hands. We work on off the dribble and finishing with light contact
Youth players
Working with kidsI love to coach the youth. The next generation needs people who are willing to show them what true fundamentals are, and not what they watch on TV. I want to be one of those people
Working with teenagersTeenagers are older and able to grasp information better. They’re more mature and stable in tense game situations. They would be able to relate more to my recent years of playing
What you need to bringI can get ahold of 29.5 and 28.5 but if student can bring their own that would be amazing!
