Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI think establishing a foundation of trust is paramount in the beginning. Strong communication is everything. I want the client to know that they can ask me a million questions if need be, and I would be happy to answer every one with respect and patience. I will provide some of my background as it pertains to the game of basketball and find out what aspects of the game they would like to work on. I would then work with them to get a skill assessment. While consistently communicating to make the client as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Lesson 11+At lessons 11+, our foundation of trust and open, positive communication should be in place. We can then continue our journey with constant positive reinforcement and excitement, while working together on understanding the game on a deeper level. Implementing more advanced techniques and knowledge. I will provide techniques and knowledge that the client can use for as long as they plan on playing this wonderful game. If we eventually, unfortunately need to part ways, the client will have the knowledge to continue to flourish as long as they are willing to put in the effort.
Lesson 4-10In lessons 4-10, we will continue building that foundation of trust, because I can't emphasize enough how important trust is. We will continue to work together in a positive atmosphere with positive communication. At this point I will have an idea of what major to minor deficiencies the client would need to work on, or we can communicate and they can tell me what specifically they would like to work on. There is no wrong way to go about it as long as the client stays excited about the game. Whatever they would like to work on, means that we have established open communication and at the end of that lesson the client will have gotten more knowledge of the game and increased their skill level.
Lesson 2-3In lesson 2-3, I will reinforce open communication and respect to further the strength of our foundation of trust. We will then work together on basic fundamentals of the game while constantly giving positive reinforcement. My goal is not only to pass down my extensive knowledge of the game but to get the client excited about basketball, and to feel good about themselves for being there and putting in the work.

What you need to bringNo equipment needed. I would however suggest a good sized water bottle.

What I can bringI will provide a basketball because that is all you need !!!

I have been playing with and against Jason my whole life. In doing so he has brought the best in me on the court and off the court. I have learned more of the game through our talks and watching how he plays the game. Throughout life he always improved and I think that speaks to his work ethic and love for the sport.
Lorenzo Hasso
I played with Jason on the same team in high school. I was a guard and he was a center and I can honestly say that he was like a coach in high school. He expected and pushed to get the best out of everyone that he played with !!! But he would approach it in his own positive reinforcement sort of way. I think people respected that he wasn't a jerk about it. He was a true competitor, that loved the game and loved to win.

Jason was an amazing coach providing invaluable skills to take me and my game to the next level. In addition he also provided me with a incredible sense of philosophy ands sportsmanship that goes far beyond the game itself. I am lucky to have found a coach with his knowledge experience and skills that I will carry with me in all aspects of my life. I highly respect learning from him.

Marcy Bowman
To be honest I'm really not that competitive. I just wanted to try a few lessons. But Jason made it comfortable and fun for me. I learned some things in what little time we had together. It was a good experience and that's what I wanted.
