Following my playing days, I pursued an Education degree at Texas State University, driven by a passion to coach and teach in a school district. While completing my studies full-time, I dedicated myself to developing young athletes by coaching city league and AAU teams, as well as organizing basketball clinics to inspire and mentor the next generation of players.”

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson will focus on introducing the foundational aspects of the game, divided into two key components: defense and offense. During the first hour, the emphasis will be on defensive techniques, covering essential strategies and skills to build a strong defensive foundation. The second hour will shift focus to offensive gameplay, exploring fundamental tactics and methods for effectively creating and executing scoring opportunities.
Lesson 11+In the remaining sessions, we will address any remaining weaknesses, working to refine specific areas of improvement. Additionally, we will place a strong emphasis on developing a resilient mental game, focusing on confidence, focus, and the ability to perform under pressure. This holistic approach will ensure well-rounded growth both physically and mentally.
Lesson 4-10Beginners will gain an understanding of the routines and skills necessary to stand out and capture the attention of coaches at any level. The lesson will emphasize discipline, consistency, and mastery of fundamental techniques, equipping players with the tools to make a strong impression on the court.
Lesson 2-3The second lesson will focus on enhancing physical fitness and game intelligence. The session will begin with strength and conditioning exercises designed to improve overall athleticism, endurance, and power. This will be followed by activities aimed at building game I.Q., such as situational drills, decision-making scenarios, and strategic discussions to deepen understanding and improve on-court awareness.
