Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will start by showing them how to hold her instrument and how to adjust it for the particular height. I will also show them. How did the ball hold and there will be a sign most likely the first one or two pages in the Suzuki book one and the string essentials book one.
Lesson 2-3Depending on the level of completion after the first lesson, the second third lessons will consist of something very similar as they progress they will be moving through the books and once they complete Suzuki book one I will move them to book 2
Lesson 4-10This will be a consideration of following the same pattern depending upon the students accomplishments per week. As they improve, I will also begin to incorporate some simpler pieces from the composers.
Lesson 11+These upper level lessons will consist of moving through until Suzuki book 4 at that point I would recommend they get a more advanced teacher because I’m mostly teaching beginners, but I will also continue to bring in pieces and scales. Encourage them to get a scale book that they can practice from.
Youth players
Working with kidsf with kids, I will teach them the basics how to hold a bow and cello and teach him how to keep their expression neutral so that when they perform twinkle twinkle, little star are various pieces in Suzuki that they know how to hold and express themselves more through music rather than their facial
