Working with kidsI keep lessons fun, active, and easy to follow, using songs and exercises that match each child’s age and interests. I focus on building coordination, rhythm, confidence, and good technique through achievable goals, so they stay motivated and enjoy playing the drums.
Working with teenagersI tailor lessons to each teenager’s musical interests and goals, combining technique, reading, coordination, and playing along to real music. I also bring my professional recording and live performance experience into the lessons, helping students understand how drumming works in a real band setting while developing their own style and confidence.
What you need to bringStudents only need to bring their own drumsticks and a willingness to learn! At my studio, all necessary equipment is provided. For in-home lessons, I can bring an electronic drum kit for the first lessons. I also encourage students to share the music and artists they enjoy so we can make each lesson personal, engaging, and fun.
What I can bringAt my studio, I provide a fully equipped drum setup, so students only need to bring their drumsticks. For in-home lessons, I can provide an electronic drum kit during the first lessons while the student gets comfortable, builds confidence, and decides on the right setup to continue practicing at home.
