Coach Matthews and i met my sophomore year of high school, he instantly stood out from the rest of the coaching staff for his tenacity to improve technique of the kids around him . I’ve seen him turn pure athletes into real technical football players. His ability to run a NFL style defenses in the high school level was his difference between a good and a great coach. I’ve followed him from team to team and only got better results from him, one of the better coaches i’ve played under within my 12 years of being around the sport.
