About your football coach

Hi! I am a coach in training, I have just began my career to work as a coach. With that being said I am incredibly driven and motivated individual, I only seek what is best for the players and my overall goal of winning football games. Since graduating from LSU this year I have still kept my status of student because you can always learn more if you are motivated to learn and football is one of the most challenging sports to truly learn and I love a challenge!!!

Beginner training plan
Your first trainingStart with basic positional knowledge related to student. I want to make sure that players I coach have a firm foundational understanding of their positions goals and answering any questions related to this inexperience. I would like to make sure that players can be confident in their position and what to do when they are unsure of what to do and teach them to make quick decisions when it comes to game day.
Training 2-3I would like to still work on basics and seeing how they progressed, while also incorporating more physical activity to see how they can perform under pressure.
Training 4-10After the first couple sessions I’d want to incorporate more cardio and other drills related to their position to get closer to build up their confidence. I would also push them harder and face them with more complex situations they might face.
Training 11+I would be more confident if their abilities have shown to improve since the first session. For example if I was coaching a lineman, I’d want them to explain to me how and why they would block an edge defender on read options and who’d they block after a double team and how to read and react to defenses.
What you need to bringBring cleats to avoid injury. Wear clothes that will be comfortable according to the weather. Bring A LOT of water and things to hydrate, Bring food that is nutritious and not ultra processed foods such as chips and or anything you would deem inappropriate.
What I can bringI do not have equipment besides cones and whatever I can provide given the current circumstances.
