Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will approach the first lesson with getting to know the athlete and what skills they want me to help improve. I will tell they what to expect from me as far as my expectations and we will slowly start with drills to help build a foundation.
Lesson 11+Lessons 11+ we will build off from previous lessons and add more acceleration and deceleration drills to help add more speed.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-10 we will build off from previous lessons and add more speed and agility drills that will incorporate change of direction and balance movements.
Lesson 2-3Lessons 2-3 we will work on drills designed for their specific position or positions. Each session will start with an active warmup, then we will work on proper techniques. We will slowly incorporate speed and agility drills.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with kids I will adapt my lessons to them learning the game of football with fun filled games that will teach them balance, coordination, and change of direction.
Working with teenagersSimilar to training with youth I will adapt my lessons to the skill set the athlete has. I will incorporate more speed and agility drills tailored to that they will learn high school athletics.
