Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start all lessons with a warm up.
Light jog, stretching, agility warm ups. After that it’s agility drills for your position. Speed work for all, footwork for QB’s. Positioning/stance for receivers, lineman, running backs, etc. This is for 30 min. Last 30 min is working specifically on your position. Routes, blocking, throwing, etc.
Lesson 11+By now the mastering of most of the drills will be easy. We would continue to progress and advance. But that depends on the athlete.
Lesson 4-10Progress with all aspects of the work. A little harder. A little faster. A little better.
Lesson 2-3Not much will change. Still work on getting better foot speed and agility.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonLooking at any potential weak points. Body mechanics, form, etc.
Lesson 11+Progressive ramp up. By this time the athlete will be driving toward more. More plyo, more speed, more strength.
Lesson 4-10Reintroduce all aspects of the training. Begin ramping up all the drills.
Lesson 2-3Work on any problems or issues. Do drills that help improve the weak area. Body weight exercises, single leg work, agility drills to build up strength.
Youth players
Working with kidsMy lessons are adaptable to all age levels.
Working with teenagersMy lessons for teenagers depends on what they want to improve on. Mostly work on any weakness in their game.
What you need to bringWater, a football they use if need be, and a open mind!
What I can bringI have footballs(2), blocking bag, cones, ladder, and other equipment to work with.
