I am recently retired and decided to take up golf. I played a couple of times on my own and realized how difficult it was and almost gave up but a friend of mine told me about Dave . I've had two lessons from him and yes this game is so hard but he's making me so much better. I can't wait to play tomorrow and get some more golf lessons.

I live next to Los Amigos Golf Course and have seen Dave out here for years. He's one of the best players out here , and for his age easily the best player. I have had the opportunity to play with him many times and received some lessons by him . I'm a much better player because of him.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst we will go over the basics of golf such as proper grip, how to address the ball, ball position, proper stance, and the sequences of the golf swing.
Lesson 11+Finally, we will introduce advanced techniques and apply your training to real golf games. I will provide feedback on your personal development.
We will focus on areas for improvement and provide practice plans for you to apply.
Lesson 4-10Now we will begin our basic short game instructions. Putting, chipping, and pitching to the green. We will focus on practice routines to enhance your skills and overall confidence.
Lesson 2-3Next, we will hit more shots to refine your grip and go over other basic fundamentals of golf. We will also introduce the rest of the golf clubs and what they are used for, such as wedge, putter, and driver.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen I teach children, I like to make my lessons enjoyable and fun by introducing games and engaging activities. We will focus on age appropriate exercises that will keep their interest in the game.
I will create a positive and safe learning environment to ensure they will feel confident and eager to play!
Working with teenagersFor teens, we will encourage more developmental skills and share a more fun, social and competitive atmosphere that appeal to this age.
We will focus on strategic and physical drills to develop their skills. We encourage teamwork and learning from your fellow golfers on the greens.
What you need to bringDepending on your skill level and equipment situation, I'll bring everything we need. For beginners or those without clubs, I've got both right and left-handed options. Or you can bring your own clubs.
I will bring to our lesson some training aids. that are great tools to assist in your training. I'll also have a range finder and camera to video tape and I always bring a good golf joke and warm smile.
