Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDiagnostic session: We’ll spend this time getting a feel for your skill level, goals, swing tendencies, and focus areas (driving/approach/short game). I’ll introduce my golf philosophy and provide on-the-spot feedback for your current stage, then discuss a lesson plan to help meet your goals.
Lesson 11+Lesson 11 will be a “playing lesson” where we put your swing to the test on the course! I’ll provide course management tips and tricks to help you feel just as comfortable as if you were on the range.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-6 will use training aids and exercises to help solidify the swing changes. During this span, we’ll dedicate one session to short game and you’ll be given valuable drills to practice independently.
Lessons 7-10 will focus on correcting any bad habits that form during independent practice. You’ll also get some experience hitting out of sand traps and longer grass. By this point, you’ll notice a significant improvement in consistency and ball striking!
Lesson 2-3Lessons 2-3 will prioritize the fundamentals including grip, stance, the “clock” method, and overall posture. You’ll have a chance to dive deeper into swing mechanics and will likely feel uncomfortable swinging the club as we’ll be making some changes. :)
What you need to bringStudents only need to bring their own golf clubs and a glove (if preferred)
