Hi Everyone! I’m Josh Handelman, a local golf instructor and former competitive player (New Trier High School golf, trained under the Northwestern golf staff). I recently went full-time as a private golf coach, working alongside Wildcat Golf Academy’s youth program. I offer private lessons, group lessons, playing lessons, and clinics for all ages and skill levels. If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.

Highly recommend lessons with Josh. He is super knowledgable about the game and the golf swing, and combines that with a great teaching approach. He met me at my knowledge level, and didn’t overwhelm me or overcomplicate the process with hyper-technical jargon. He was able to easily diagnose issues in my swing, and give specific, digestible feedback that made a difference right away. He also provided several simple drills that I can work on at home (with or without a club in hand), as well as video resources that I can refer to next time I practice on my own. Will definitely be taking more lessons with him in the future. Thanks Josh!

Like all good golf instructors, Josh works with what you have and makes it better. He doesn’t have some cookie cutter notion of the “perfect golf swing” that he attempts to mold his clients towards. Josh is an outstanding golf coach. He is a serious student of the game, and has been very helpful with identifying issues in my swing without forcing me to rebuild my swing.
