Golf is one of the most frustrating, demoralizing and addictive things you can do. I have been playing for 28 years. I spend 85% of my time conscious practicing , playing or thinking about golf. Each person learns the game differently and I have learned and taught myself through a variety of methods.

## Reviews

> Working with Lanam has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my game. He is incredibly patient and creates such a comfortable, encouraging environment to learn in, no matter your skill level. What really stood out to me was his gentle, positive, and fun coaching style — he never makes you feel pressured or discouraged, and instead builds confidence with clear guidance and thoughtful feedback. (Without overloading you) What impressed me most was how quickly I saw improvement. Within just a few adjustments my swing felt more consistent, and my confidence improved. He has a great ability…

> Lanam was clear, simple, and flexible. He helped me stay focused and set the correct expectations. He did not try to stick to "his" way, he consistently adjusted to my needs. At the same time, he was also properly firm on what he believed the focus should be, in a very respectful way. His entire approach of practicality and repeatability really REALLY worked for me. Great coaches are experts who have a wide array of tools and styles and do what's right for the student to get results. A great coach does not overwhelm you and is able to back off and adjust to keep that from happening, while sti…

> The lesson focused nicely on simplifying my approach, which I appreciated. It felt good to concentrate on just a couple of things like keeping the club face more open and reducing sway. That’s a helpful reminder for next time. Though, I still think I could improve how I position my arms and avoid over-swinging. Still, Lanam’s teaching style makes it easy to stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed. Definitely worth giving it a try if you’re after practical tips grounded in real technique.

> I was pretty pleased with the lesson because Lanam focused on what I needed most and explained things clearly, especially in how I could improve my swing consistency. Still, I think some of the drills could have been a bit more tailored to my specific issues. It's promising though, I feel like I can take what I learned and apply it next time I hit the course. If you’re open to constructive feedback, trying out a lesson with Lanam could be worth it to see if it helps your game improve.

> That lesson was quite helpful, honestly. My girlfriend and I are pretty eager for our next class because the highlight really boosted our confidence on the course. Lanam’s approach makes it easier to remember key points and stay focused. Still, I think there’s room to refine some of the drills to make them more tailored to our specific game. Anyway, I’ll probably keep going , Lanam’s lessons seem like a solid way to get better without feeling overwhelmed.

> Honestly, I appreciated how Lanam was really attentive to guiding, and his eagerness to help Riaan improve his golf skills was clear. Though, Riaan still need to keep working on the grip and body motion, but he feel more aware of what to focus on next. It's a balanced lesson that leaves you with a better understanding of your fundamentals. For anyone aiming to polish their technique, Lanam’s approach offers a solid starting point.

> The lesson with Lanam was quite helpful. I felt like I better understood some swing mechanics I’d been struggling with, though I think more practice would make a difference. Still, it was a solid step forward, and I’m hoping to keep building on what was covered today. If you’re looking for a coach who can help clarify confusing parts of your game, Lanam’s worth trying out.

> As I've continued to take lessons he's continued to be excellent and consistent. He is a great combination of clear, encouraging, and honest, and he's always got a simple exercise for me that gets me where I need to go without confusing me with too much stuff. I've improved a ton in a few short weeks and I'm looking forward to a lot more!
