Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFundamentals, building a strong foundation with a good grip, posture, and setup. These will be the key to ensuring your success in learning how to play the game of golf.
Lesson 2-3After we have a sound foundation the next couple lessons will be learning how the body works through the swing. Building a structured backswing along with the proper weight swift to keep it as simple as possible.
Lesson 4-10Each player is going to progress at their own pace. So practicing in between lessons will not only help the student improve but it will also determine how fast we can progress with some more technical aspects along with learning how to chip, pitch and putt.
Lesson 11+By this point pending the dedication of the individual to doing extra on their own time. The student should be able to take it to the course and start learning how to play the game. Which clubs they should use from different distances, learning some more advanced skills around the greens, bunkers and everything that it takes to enjoy the game.
What you need to bringIf you are a beginner of the game, no problem I can provide equipment for men and women as well as junior students. I will also help you through the process of purchasing your first set of clubs. This can be an overwhelming process with all of the different options available. I will help guide you through this and get you into the best options without dealing with big box stores looking to just get you to spend as much money as possible. If you are already play and have your own equipment what you bring is up to you and what part of your game we are going to be looking to improve. Normal athletic wear is perfectly acceptable unless otherwise specified by the facility we are using for the lesson. During the summer months especially, i would recommend bringing plenty of water even if we are working indoors. hydration is extremely important for you to get the most from our time.
