I’ve been golfing for over 30 years and as I grew older I’ve learned to maximize what I have. I’m 5’6” and though I consider myself an athlete, I do believe a good swing can be achieved by good fundamentals and what I call positioning. By ingraining certain aspects of a swing, we can continue to improve by doing. I’m just a low-handicap golfer who want to teach average golfers good fundamentals as a takeaway, so you can start to improve on your own. I’m not a teaching professional, but I was a design instructor at an art school for over 17 years, I hope I can make improving your golf game fun.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFundamentals. We will work on grip, stance, and posture. We will find a way to have you easily remember how to repeat this.
Lesson 11+We may want to go to a short course and play together, and learn a little bit about the course etiquette and rules. Easy stuff.
Lesson 4-10We will learn about putting, short game like chipping, and pitching, which will involve hitting 20, 30, and 40 yards. We will do this in the comfort of artificial turf, but gradually try it on real grass.
Lesson 2-3Here we get into a golf swing, and each lesson will focus on each part of the swing: Backswing and downswing.
