Coach Mike is amazing. I have taken lessons with my husband but not really learning anything to where I had confidence. I signed up for 12 lessons, and with in those 12 lessons, I learn how to hit my irons. I didn’t have a driver, but he put a driver together and taught me how to hit my driver. He also taught me how to chip and putt. I didn’t have any expectations on the latter lessons. I just was looking to learn my golf swing and he had taken me far and beyond my expectations. I look forward to working with him again. I would recommend him to anyone that’s looking for someone that is patient and communicates well.

When I took my lessons with Coach Mike, I was referred to him from other students, knowing that he helped them get to a place where they were comfortable practicing on their own. I took my lesson seriously practice based on his instructions, but my lessons were very informative. I had a goal to break 100 and that’s why I chose 12 lessons with him each lesson goal to break down my playability from Tee box to Green.

I thought I would give review on Coach Mike’s new location. I have followed him for several years working with him as a beginner as well as now I’m an average player but always looking to improve. I met Coach Mike over at Northcrest driving range about 15 years ago he was really busy at that time, but he always had time and patience to work with my golf swing. I would recommend him to anyone.

First, let me say that when I met Coach Mike I wasn’t sure about my golf swing and his teaching was very impressive. The first thing he said to me was he’s going to take whatever athleticism I bring and help me understand my golf swing. My goal was to break 100 and he helped. . I am shooting below 90 high 80s I would recommend Coach Mike in a heartbeat..

I want to leave a review for coach, I brought my son in who’s nine years old not much skill with his golf swing, but Coach Mike has taken my son from not liking his golf swing to wanting to come back and learn from him every Saturday if you have a young son or daughter, I would recommend Coach Mike anytime any day

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonMy first lesson is always dressed as a meet and greet. I work with trackman and I also do video recording video. Recording is very important for beginning to see their golf swing and I approaching in that manner.
Lesson 11+At this stage, if we’ve gone this far as one student we’re looking at correcting any confusion of what the golf lesson or the golf swing entails we will always go over the path of the golf swing, range of motion of the golf swing and the tempo of the swing.
Lesson 4-10As we get to this stage of our lessons, we’re looking at play ability if we are a beginner and have no understanding of what it takes to play golf I like to introduce my students to the golf course and that would be Saint Marlo‘s golf course, then we’ll look at the how to practice and managed their way to play golf. Golf Lessons are one thing for playing golf is totally different.
Lesson 2-3As we get into our 2nd to 3rd lesson. I tried to approach it as understanding what your clubs can and cannot do or what you are capable of doing knowing your yardage, knowing your distance distances understanding what club distance for each club in your back
Youth players
Working with kidsAlways feel that teaching kids at a certain age it’s beneficial for their motor skills. I am particular about the age of kids that I do start with depending on their attention span and their to take a lesson rather it’s 30 minutes 45 minutes or an hour.
Working with teenagersMy expertise have been taking youth golfers from middle school to high school golfing team and on to collegiate play.
What you need to bringI like for each student to address a golf lesson as if they were going to the driving range beginners you may need a glove left-handed or right hand. If you do not have clubs, I will provide a club for you.
What I can bringI would like for my students to bring their equipment that they have golf clubs. Our first meeting will always be with a seven iron. But I like to examine the equipment that they chose if they need to upgrade or not..
