Michelle Abell is a Class A Member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) Division. Michelle has been in and around the golf industry her whole life playing Division One collegiate player, at the University of Arkansas - Little Rock. She also worked in the golf apparel industry with Cutter & Buck, the green grass/pro shop/ retail side. Michelle has also worked in the non-profit side, working with The Fairway Foundation, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf and The First Tee - Great Pasadena. She has participated in LPGA Tour events like the Career Women's Golf Day at the Minnesota LPGA Classic.

Michelle is great. In just a short time, she was able to point out the tendencies i showed in my swing and explain in an easy to understand way how to fix the issues that were leading to poor shots. She helped me to simplify things so that even on days that i feel my swing is abandoning me, I can quickly find it again. Most importantly, Michelle prioritizes what her students are trying to achieve. I let her know that I play golf a few times a month at most and didn't have a ton of time to spend practicing on the driving range. Golf for me has been an on and off thing, with life too often getting in the way of time on the course. Most instructors I have had in the past try to teach me an all new swing that I can't replicate without a ton of practice. Michelle focused on a few tweaks to my natural swing that was something that improved my game immediately. While Michelle's technical knowledge and ability to communicate same to her students in a clear way is very high, her passion and love for the game combined with her understanding of what her students are looking to achieve is why i will keep going back to her.
