The first lesson will be a general assessment of your golf skills, knowledge, and experience. For true beginners, we will cover basic fundamentals (i.e. grip, posture, stance, etc).
Remaining lessons, because you will be well on your way to a lifetime of enjoying golf, will be even more specialized. You can expect to learn the countless nuances of the game, while continuing to focus on what enabled you to progress so quickly!
Lessons 4-10, we will begin to establish a gameplan tailored toward your needs. Everybody is different. Everybody’s bodies move different. Everybody’s minds work different. It’s all about doing what works best for YOU.
Lessons 2-3 will be a continuation of the fundamentals. This may sound mundane, but even Tour Professionals focus on their fundamentals daily. To keep it fresh, though, we will do an introduction to chipping and putting.
Like always, first thing I am going to check for is the basic fundamentals (I.e. grip, stance, posture, etc.. And then we’ll go from there. Big on building a consistent motion that works well for you.
If you would rather take a look at short game first, that is just fine too. It’s your time.
We will work on what you want. Golf instruction should be tailored to your needs/wants and that’s what we will do.
At this point we will begin to think about heading out to the course. Nothing says “show me what you got,” more than playing. Almost all of us hit it better on the range…can you guess how we take that mentality to the course?
We will continue to look at aspects of your game that you wish to address. Identifying which parts of the game will lead to the most development and lowering of scores is always good practice.
