Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst we will get familiar with the basics of golf. I would begin our first lesson by showing you the proper grip, stance, and basic small swings. We will also hit a few putts.
Lesson 11+Finally, we will take it to the course and learn about course management and in game scenarios/ strategies.
Lesson 4-10Lesson 4-10 we can begin swinging the longer clubs and learning proper technique for full swings. This will include learning distance control and proper accuracy.
Lesson 2-3In the 2nd to 3rd lesson I would introduce chipping/ wedge shots. These are generally smaller swings. The only way to learn how to swing it full is to start by making consistent contact on short swings.
Youth players
Working with kidsMy lessons will work similarly for all age ranges, but with kids I will make it more fun and enjoyable with some mini games!
Working with teenagersWith teenagers I will also involve some mini games and fun activities, but it will be a touch more serious and to the point regarding techniques.
