I am Xinqian Li, a composer and jazz guitarist based in Los Angeles, currently pursuing a Doctorate in Studio Jazz Guitar at USC Thornton School of Music. As a lifetime member of Pi Kappa Lambda, I draw deep inspiration from traditional jazz, shaping my own unique musical voice. From performing at international festivals like the Big Apple Music Festival in New York to collaborating with China's jazz community in Zhuhai and Chengdu, my journey has been marked by diverse experiences and accolades. With a foundation in fingerstyle guitar and a passion for large ensemble compositions, I continue to explore new musical horizons, recently joining prestigious ensembles and leading my own jazz quintet.
