He is a terrific instructor: patient, highly skilled, and capable of both explaining and demonstrating the ins and outs of playing pickleball. He uses fun drills to help students get the muscle memory needed to play well. He also emphasizes strategy. I am an older person and don’t have the natural skills to play this game, but with his instruction, I am getting better and better and better. I highly recommend him as an instructor. We did a lot of dinking drills, worked on back hand, soft touch, and footwork…letting me know when I did good and what I needed to focus on. Worked on strategy…ball placement and how to do a 3rd shot drop. He noticed I was gripping my paddle too tight and showed me a better way to hold it. He told me to relax and not be too anxious to hit ball. This made a huge difference in focusing and making contact with ball. Almost exactly one before my lesson, I had major shoulder surgery. Before the surgery I was unable to serve forehand.
