What is their goal (improve skills, make lacrosse team, etc) Once I understand the goal the first lesson will be an assessment of the students current skills. All lessons work off of a “Crawl, Walk, Run” Training Model.
Crawl: Explain & Demonstrate skill
Walk: Walk thru Crawl phase direction
Run: Demonstrate Crawl & Walk directions in real time
Equipment Preparation: Make sure students stick & equipment are within regulation & customized to their playing style.
First Lesson:
Strong Side Cradling, Passing, Catching
End of lesson, student will have “laxwork” to train on at home until next lesson.
Lesson 11: Player Visualization. Lacrosse is as much of a psychological game as it is a physical one. This lesson focuses on how the student transforms not only into a player but an asset for their team.

Lesson 10: Assessment Day

Before the lesson is scheduled, I will contact the advance player to discuss their goals and objectives. Once that is established, I will customize a lesson plan.
Lesson 1: Assess Student’s Skillset. Once assessed, I will implement the customized training plan previously discussed between myself and the player. All proceeding lessons will follow a similar pattern until the players goals and objectives have been met.
