Lacrosse is more than just a sport; it's a passion I've honed for 20 years. I had the privilege of playing at the University of Indianapolis where I was a 3x Geico Academic All-American and made appearances to the NCAA Final Four and Elite Eight. Following my time at Uindy, I worked as an Athlete Performance Coach at T3 performance where I worked with athletes from ages 6 to Professional to develop speed, power, and coordination. I also spent time working as a Strength and Conditioning coach at Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio. Moving to Georgetown, Ky I would love to continue to grow the game and I look forward to working with each and every athlete!

I worked with Tanner over my summers back from college and every summer we worked on adding something new to my game. The first summer back from college we developed my ability to shoot on the run (Very important being a fogo) The second summer, we worked on my ability to play through slides and read a rotating defense off the fast break. He took me from a back up fogo to an all-conference player by my senior season.

Tanner trained my son when he first started playing lacrosse and quickly developed his skills and confidence. Not only did Tanner make my son a better player but he also made him a better teammate by teaching him how to play within the team and how to play when the ball was not in his stick

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonStart off with the basics, let’s work on picking up ground balls, proper hand placement on your stick, cradling the balls and some basic catching and passing
Lesson 11+Add to the arsenal, shooting on the run, passing and shooting from all three angles (overhand, sidearm, & underhand), and any other skills you would like to add to your game.
Lesson 4-10Begin working on step down shooting footwork, basic fundamental dodges, and build on the fundamentals.
Lesson 2-3Continue processing on the basics of ground balls, cradling, catching, and passing, and begin mixing in footwork along with catching and passing.
Youth players
Working with kidsFocus is on what they want to learn and improve on, the pace we progress through things may be slower but with kids I find fundamentals to be the most important.
Working with teenagersWith teenagers drowning on their skill level we may need to develop fundamentals, or we may need to add in more advanced skills that are both tactical skills but also intellectual skills such as reading an offense or defense and how to play off different looks
