As a middle schooler, my family moved to Kentucky due to a job change, but my passion for lacrosse was unaffected. In high school, I was a two-time US Lacrosse All-American, which helped open doors for me, such as getting recruited and eventually committing to RMU, a D1 program located in Pittsburgh, PA.
