Andrew Fois is a multifaceted musician and music educator who specializes in teaching diverse musical styles, with a particular emphasis on jazz, rock, pop, and contemporary genres. He possesses a strong background in musical composition and songwriting, allowing him to foster creativity in his students, and earned his Bachelor of Music from New York University, where he immersed himself in the vibrant NYC music scene. Andrew has performed as a solo instrumentalist and as a member of various ensembles at notable venues in NYC and Washington, D.C., including the iconic Bitter End, the lively Pianos, and the energetic Bowery Electric. He has also taught for several years at music companies including Bach to Rock, School of Rock, the Music Tree, and In Home Music Lessons and is eager to share his passion for music and inspire his students to explore their own musical journeys. In addition to his musical pursuits, Andrew also holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and works as a practicing attorney at a technology consulting company, focusing on creative rights issues. This unique combination of music and law enriches his perspective as an educator and performer, enabling him to guide his students in musical skills and understanding the legal aspects of the music industry.
