About your piano coach
From the concert hall to your home, I bring 43 years of professional piano experience to students of all levels. My passion lies in fostering a deep appreciation for music while building a strong foundation in technique and theory. Together, we'll unlock your musical potential. In addition to piano, I am also available for composition lessons, horn lessons, and tutoring in music theory and aural skills (a good head start for students intending to major in music).

➕I have a doctorate in music theory and composition. My works have been recorded by the Brno Philharmonic and I have been a finalist for the American Prize in Composition in multiple divisions. I have taught music theory and aural skills at the University of Arkansas as well as keyboard skills and composition at Flathead Valley Community College. I have eighteen years of church music experience including directing handbell ensembles, choirs, and playing piano and organ for worship.
