Sean is a phenomenal artist and teacher- knowledgeable- but more than that, he's patient, kind, and can explain technique and theory in creative ways so different learners can grasp the concepts. He's a unique treasure. Finally, Sean is also a great entertainer. He organized multiple recitals each year, giving his students the ability to showcase what they've learned and worked hard for. My first lesson followed lessons for two young beginning students (I arrived early). Sean was sensitive to the child’s musical ability and ambition (the children were at opposite ends of the spectrum).
