Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson, I focus on building a connection with the student by understanding their goals and experience level. We start with the basics, such as proper posture, hand positioning, and keyboard familiarity. I introduce a simple exercise or melody to establish a comfortable and enjoyable first experience with the instrument.
Lesson 4-10Between lessons four and ten, we focus on strengthening technique, introducing beginner-level repertoire, and developing a deeper understanding of music theory. Students will also start practicing sight-reading and build a routine for consistent progress. By the end of these lessons, they will be able to play a few complete pieces with confidence.
Lesson 2-3In the second and third lessons, students can expect to learn the fundamentals of rhythm, note recognition, and basic finger exercises. We begin exploring simple songs that align with their musical interests to develop confidence and keep the lessons engaging.
Youth players
Working with kidsFor kids and teenagers, I balance technical development with creativity to make lessons enjoyable and inspiring. I integrate popular songs, classical pieces, and improvisation to keep them engaged. My teaching style emphasizes encouragement and building self-confidence in a structured yet fun environment
