Sports of all kinds have always been an integral part of my life. I love playing different sports and games, particularly racket sports. This active lifestyle has kept me young in both mind and body. Nothing makes me happier than transferring my love of sports to my students. I've taught pickleball for 3-4 years to students of all ages, genders, and experience levels. I'm patient and dedicated to helping my students become proficient in pickleball so they can enjoy it safely as much as I do.

Arthur is an excellent pickleball coach! Not only is he an extremely skilled player with a real passion for this sport but he is a student of the game as well. He follows up his teaching sessions with videos so you can work on your technique both on and off the court. He makes learning PIckleball fun…his enthusiasm for this sport is apparent and it is easy to gain a love for PB as a result of Arthur’s passion for both teaching and playing the game….he makes learning fun! Whether you are a beginner or experienced player I highly recommend Arthur Golden as your Pickleball coach….he is truly the best!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is undoubtedly the most important lesson of all, because the primary focus is your well-being! It makes me so sad to hear about new players falling and hurting themselves...sometimes seriously. The reasons for these occurrences are almost always not being aware of the few important preparations before stepping out onto the court. It can be be something as simple as wearing the proper type of shoes, or knowing how to move while playing. Every sport is unique in its demands on the mind & body, and I'll be happy to help you learn those things so that you'll be able to enjoy this really fun and healthy game for as long as you wish!
Lesson 2-3In almost every case, a student of mine, by the time they finish their 3rd lesson, will be able to go to any Pickleball court anywhere and be capable of playing and enjoying a game of Pickleball. If you have serious intentions of improving your game enough to consider entering tournaments, I can work with you to where you'll be able to enter a tournament, and even win a medal! It's just a matter of how determined you are to practice and play often enough so that your skill level improves. ANYONE can get better & better, but it takes a concerted effort on your part to practice often.
