Caleb was a great teacher, he taught me the basic techniques well and I really liked his take on strategy and how to play a point. He is very good at correcting you and giving you good criticism on how you could’ve been better.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson the goal will be to build a connection with the student and get to know them and understand their background which will gauge where to begin. Will start with try to make good contact and beginning forehand and backhand technique training. Goal is to be able to rally consistently and have good stroke form.
Lesson 11+Continue improving on all previous lessons and focusing on consistency!!! Goal is to be ready for anything!!!
Lesson 4-10In these lessons there will still be an emphasis on technique of the stroke along with kitchen play and footwork but strategy will be incorporated. Learning how to play a point and teaching what to do in certain situations and what not to do will be an emphasis with drills geared towards strategy. Examples would be explaining no mans land, ball placement, and movement on the court and more. This will be applied once student is consistent with their forehand and backhand. Goal here is improving on previous lessons goals and incorporating strategies.
Lesson 2-3Will continue forehand and back hand but begin incorporating footwork and learning to adjust your body to hit a better shots. These lessons we will begin to practice one of the most important skills in pickle ball which would be net play so volley’s, dinks, and kitchen play in general. Goal is to continue to improve on stroke form and develop kitchen gameplay.
