Joe is a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Coach & Instructor (Member #127002), the official education and certification partner of USA Pickleball. With over three years of pickleball experience, Joe competes at the 4.0-4.5 level and has medaled in several tournaments throughout Southern California. A lifelong athlete, he has a background in competitive table tennis, golf, marathon running, triathlons, and is an Ironman finisher. Joe is also the Head Teaching Pro and Pickleball Director at iPickle Arcadia, where he hosts the weekly “Pickleball Social” every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night from 7:00-10:00pm, fostering a fun and engaging environment for players of all levels.

I started taking group & individual lessons with Joe when I first started playing Pickleball last year. I find that Joe's love of the sport shines through in every way! He is very encouraging and motivating.
He quickly prioritizes areas of focus that can make a big improvement. I find Joe's communication style is detailed, encouraging, caring, & respectful. His support has helped me achieve an awesome serve, dink skills, third shot drops, and effective doubles' strategies. Highly recommend Joe as a coach! 🤩 I took 2 classes with him from beginner 2 to intermediate level and he taught everything from basic mechanics to strategy. I appreciate the repetition we got in the class from all the drills and games. He’s very good at teaching fundamentals - drives, 3rd shot drops, dinks, lobs, and serves. He’s extremely intentional in reviewing material we learned from previous weeks as well as introducing new aspects of the game. His classes have helped me so much! If you’re looking to up your pickleball game, Joe is your answer!! ☺️

I’ve taken many classes with Coach Joe and he is the BEST! Everyone I’ve referred also have nothing but awesome positive feedback! He reminds me of the nicer and sweeter version of my own dad! I was playing pickleball in recreational settings and picked up many bad habits! Coach Joe taught me the fundamentals and mechanics essential to pickleball, which has since elevated my game! Joe greets you with a warm smile and remembers all his students’ names! He is friendly while still being able to help you improve your weaknesses and techniques. He hones in on each individual’s needs while giving lessons. He clearly explains and demonstrates drills from serving, dinking, third-shot drops, driving the ball, stance, paddle control! He is so thorough! Joe is a staple in this pickleball community! Set up a lesson with him. You’ll be glad you did!
