My dad has been teaching and coaching me in sports since I was a kid. From baseball, football, basketball, ping pong, racquetball, bowling, water skiing, golf and now, pickleball, needless to say, he loves sports and pickleball is his favorite! It takes athletic ability, knowledge and patience to teach a sport like pickleball and my Dad is the best! So, weather you are just starting or have been playing a while and want to fine tune your skills, call John and he have you crushing it in no time!

John volunteers his time to coach our middle school pickleball team. He has the patience to deal beginners and intermediate players from our school. He is very encouraging and by his coaching you can tell he is very knowledgeable about the sport. He enjoys teaching all levels and has helped start the pickleball league for our middle schools. We appreciate all his time and effort to coaching these young athletes.

John is an amazing teacher-very encouraging, patient and always up-beat. He knows when to move ahead and when to keep repeating the skill. He makes it fun. He’s knowledgeable and a great cheerleader. He allowed us to try out different paddles instead of having to buy blindly. I highly recommend him! As a beginner I couldn’t imagine a more encouraging start than I’ve had working with John Hamm.

What you need to bringThe correct shoes are paramount for safety and stability while learning the game of pickleball. An outdoor hard surface court shoe is required for your safety. Running and walking shoes should not be worn for your lesson.
