> John is a great teacher. I was new to pickleball, although have played ping pong since I was a kid. He adjusted his teaching to fit what I was already able to do and focus on the new techniques I needed to learn. We moved all the way to a mock game in the first lesson and I felt like I was really getting a lot of the basics - including the semi-screwy scoring protocol. Throughout the lesson John was clued in to my own distinct skills, needs and interests.
