> I’ve taken a few lessons with Kal, but immediately after the first one, I could tell that his teaching style is different in a good way from the other coaches I’ve taken lessons from. His direct, friendly informative approach is very helpful. His positive reinforcement and passion for the game make me want to push myself to do better. With an injured left knee, he’s given me an alternative swing option as I change from a one-handed to two-hand backhand. I am more confident now using the two-hand backhand in a game. He’s also taught me techniques to loosen up. The drills, mechanics and practic…

> Kal is an amazing coach and person, and a pleasure to be around on the court. I am so incredibly happy with the progress that I have made since working together and this is reflected in the results that I have seen in my own game. I thoroughly enjoy each and every lesson and always feel like I am continuing to improve both my technique and strategy, while actively implementing the work we do in practice during my matchplay. From the start, I told Kal I was willing to put in the time and work, so we would routinely do 3 hour non-stop lessons and he would absolutely push me all the way. Since w…

> I can enthusiastically recommend Kal as a Professional Pro to improve your pickleball game. I have taken lessons from many people but none of them were able to make as significant an improvement in my game in as little time as Kal. I found him to be extremely personable and truly interested in helping me. I was impressed by his knowledge and ability to find a way to get me to make one correction, which then corrected more than one flaw in my strokes. I always left with an understanding of what I needed to work on when practicing on my own. I am sure that your game will improve after taking le…

> Today’s lesson really built on the fundamentals we put in place during prior lessons. Also, the video recording you made helped me visualize what I am doing well and what I need to work on. I will be out of state until mid September and look forward to continuing our lessons then. I also appreciate your perspective and explanation around your interactions with Diane. She asked me if it would be OK to combine her lesson with mine this week and I take full responsibility for not immediately shutting this down. She also had some difficulty navigating the app and I wasn’t able to

> I found the lesson on dinking purposefully quite helpful, especially as someone still working on control at the net. Though I wasn't expecting such a focus, it really clarified how intentional dinking can set up the whole point. Kal's approach made me think differently about those softer shots, and I left with some practical ideas to try next time I play. Still, I hope to get more comfortable with the rhythm, but I’ll definitely stay optimistic about improving my finesse on those shot placements. If you're into refining your pickleball strategy, it’s worth giving Kal a shot.

> The lesson was quite useful in reinforcing the fundamentals from previous lessons, which made me really realize I need to trust the process and techniques more, though I still see room for improvement. Kal's approach helped reinforce core skills, and I appreciated that, but I think I’d benefit from continued practice to really internalize what we worked on. Still, I’m hopeful that with some repetition, I’ll get more comfortable applying these techniques during play. If you're looking for a coach who emphasizes fundamentals, you might want to give Kal a try.

> My lesson with Kal was great! I always walk away with new pointers to work on! I appreciated how he explains everything clearly, making complex ideas easier to grasp. Though I still need to work on my serves and dinking, I feel more aware of hitting in front of my opponent’s reach and maintaining a good arch. That lesson gave me useful insight into technique, and I’m hopeful I can develop those aspects further with practice. If you're looking for someone who genuinely breaks down pickleball skills without overloading, Kal’s a solid choice to try out.

> I got into contact with Kal and I’m really glad he ended up as my coach. Not only was he really good at teaching but he created such a comfortable environment on the court. He was really patient with me since I had no prior practice or training in pickleball. He was informative and I felt like I picked things up quickly with his way of teaching. All around, Kal is a delight to learn from and an informative teacher. With how quickly I was able to learn the sport, I really felt like I got everything I paid for and more with his lessons.
