Hi! I’m a certified IPTPA Pickleball Coach and yoga instructor with experience teaching at clubs, in private sessions, and group classes. I work with beginner and intermediate players, and I adapt each lesson to your goals—whether you want to play socially or get more competitive. Everyone learns differently, so we will build your skills together in a supportive way.
Once you’re solid on the foundations, we’ll continue progressing your skills with focused, game-like scenarios:
• Sharpening shot selection and placement under pressure
• Advanced strategy and court IQ
• Practicing drills that mimic real-match situations
• Refining defensive resets and offensive attacks
• Building consistency through repetition and competitive drills
• Working on mental focus, confidence, and on-court communication
• Light cross-training: mobility, balance, reaction, and pickleball-specific fitness
These lessons can be tailored toward social play, tournaments, or simply mastering the game you love.
Lessons 4–10 are all about developing confidence, consistency, and strategy:
• Mastering the soft game (dinks and drops) and understanding when to use each
• Improving serve depth, spin, and placement
• Learning volley and reset techniques at the kitchen
• Footwork drills for better court coverage and reaction
• Basic game strategy: how to move with your partner, when to stay back vs. come up
• Introduction to third-shot drops and transition zone play
• Begin playing mini games and point-based drills
• Light fitness conditioning to improve stamina, speed, and balance
By the end of this stage, you’ll feel ready to join open play or rec games with confidence.
In your second and third lessons, we’ll begin reinforcing the fundamentals introduced in the first session:
• Grip, stance, and paddle position review
• Serve and return practice, focusing on consistency
• Introduction to dinking (the soft game) and basic net play
• Begin understanding court positioning and movement
• Light drills to build muscle memory
• Fun rally play to apply skills in real time
These lessons are still very supportive and exploratory—you’ll continue gaining confidence, rhythm, and a sense of how to control the ball.
