Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson for beginners covers the basics of pickleball. What are the different areas of the court called, what are the different types of shots, what are the rules, how to hit a serve, etc.
Lesson 4-10The next lessons work on other areas of the court such as midcourt, baseline, hitting drops, drives and resets and working on drills to continue improving form and consistency.
Lesson 2-3The lessons following the first, will dive deeper into each shot type. The second lesson usually focuses specifically on dinking and the third lesson specifically covers volleys.
What you need to bringMake sure to bring athletic shoes, a paddle (if you have one), water and a readiness to learn!
What I can bringIf you do not have a paddle I can provide you with one during the lesson! I also have balls and practice targets/equipment for use during the lessons.
